“The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” Male Spinoff: “Boys Club ATL”

The production team behind Bravo’s reality smash Real Housewives franchise are working on an all-male spinoff of the hit series.

Evolution Media has teamed up with The Real Housewives of Atlanta casting producer Princess Banton-Lofters, who will also serve as executive producer of the tentatively titled Boys Club: ATL, according to Broadcasting & Cable.

“We’d obviously admired from afar what Princess did with The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and when she approached us with this idea, it was a slam dunk,” says Evolution president Douglas Ross — who previously worked on Season One of Fear Factor and CBS’ Big Brother. “Men’s lives are as dramatic and interesting as their female counterparts.”

Boys Club: ATL will be based and filmed in the Atlanta area. No word yet on casting or if network Bravo will pick up the series. LOGO, MTV’s gay-centric television network, is currently shooting an New York-based all-gay version of the Housewives franchise called Kept.

Please remove pets, small children, and the elderly from earshot before playing at full volume.

We blame Kandi for encouraging this foolishness…friends don’t let talentless friends perform on TV…..

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s resident husband humper Kim Zolciak will perform her annoying gay club anthem, “Tardy for the Party,” for the first time live on Part II of the show’s Season 2 reunion special — airing tonight @ 9PM/8c on Bravo.

And if nails on a chalkboard are your thing, you’re in for a treat. However, we’d recommend removing all pets and small children from the room before tuning in….actually, you might want to get the elderly out of earshot as well.

Now that her illicit love affair with billionaire businessman Lee “Big Poppa” Najjar has gone up in smoke, wig-wearing mistress Kim Zolciak — of The Real Housewives of Atlanta — is on the hunt for real love once again, with the help of fellow Bravo reality star Patti Stanger.

The self-professed Millionaire Matchmaker, whose small screen smash sets up the wealthy and single, offered her expertise to Kim after learning the blonde had ended her engagement to the still-married Big Poppa.

“Kim finally realized he had no intention of being faithful to her, so she broke up with him… but she kept the ring,” a tattletale reveals in The National Enquirer’s Nov. 9 issue. “Patti and Kim have run into each other at various media events and have gotten to know one another,” says the source. “So when Patti found out Kim dumped Big Poppa, she offered to help her find new love. Kim is excited and open to the idea of meeting another guy — especially a millionaire.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kim Zolciak has joined the exclusive legion of celebrities; including Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Paris Hilton; who have been snapped sans underpants. Big Poppa’s Lil Mama, who is supposedly 30, showed off a little too much sushi while dining at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills last Friday night.

Photographers caught a flash of Kim’s catbag as she exited a car before grabbing a bite to eat with co-star NeNe Leakes, with whom she recently rekindled her friendship.

“The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” Reunion Special Postponed

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 2 Reunion Special has been postponed in the wake of the death of castmate Kandi Burruss’ former fiancé, Ashley “AJ” Jewell.

Bravo had planned to taped a two-part show last week that would have aired the network on October 29 and November 5. However, those shows will have to be rescheduled in light of the death of Jewell, series co-star Dwight Eubanks told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution last Wednesday.

Jewell, 34, died from “massive head injuries” sustained during a in the parking lot of a strip club where he worked. A man has been charged in connection with the fatal beating. A funeral for the father of six was held this past Friday in Georgia.

In related news, Lee Najjar, the Atlanta real estate mogul who is known supposedly as “Big Poppa” on the show, has put his nine-bedroom Buckhead mansion on the market for $25 million. Although married, Najjar recently got engaged to wigged-out castmember Kim Zolciak.
