Funny guy Steve Carell is turning in his pocket protector as obnoxious Dunder-Mifflin regional manager Michael Scott on The Office next season.
Some Must-See TV Thursday fans can’t imagine one of their favorite comedies without weekly shenanigans with Michael, but Carell tells Parade Magazine that The Office will be just fine without him – do you think it will?
“Lighting The Sky Ablaze With The Power Of Fireworks” took on a new meaning for actress Jenna Fischer this Independence Day Weekend. The star of the NBC comedy The Office tied the knot with writer Lee Kirk on Saturday, Us Weekly snoops spill.

The couple began dating in Jan. 2008. Lee popped the question to Jenna, 36, while the two were vacationing in Europe in July 2009.
While the new marriage is the first for Kirk, Fischer was previously wed to director James Gunn. They divorced in July 2007.

Funny guy Steve Carell has confirmed his departure from the hit NBC Thursday night comedy The Office.
Carell will hang up his pocket protector as paper company manager Michael Scott once the show’s seventh season wraps in Spring 2011.
