Weird Couple Alert: Things are getting sexy in “The City” for MTV reality star Whitney Port. Lauren Conrad’s former right-hand woman has reportedly been secretly dating silver screen hunk Leonardo DiCaprio, 34, for several weeks, Big Apple tattles have revealed to Star.

“They met at an NYC party and he flirted with her like crazy, then asked for her phone number,” says a Whit pal, who asked not to be identified. “She didn’t think it was a big deal because she heard he does that with a lot of girls.”
According to a report in the tabloid’s Oct. 26 issue, the Manhattan-based Whitney has been racking up the Frequent Flyer Miles with several recent trips back to her hometown of Los Angeles, where she’s been busy making clandestine visits to Leo. Their official first date was at the Oscar-nominated actor’s lavish mansion in the Hollywood Hills.

“When Leo started calling her, she thought he was just being friendly, but he called and called,” the Star insider dishes. “He was very sweet to her. He told her how beautiful she is, how much he wanted to go out with her….He’s treating her very well, and of course it’s exiciting that he’s such a hugh star.”

Whitney, 24, previously dated businessman Freddie Fackelmayer and rocker Jay Lyon, but she’s very overwhelmed all the attention she’s getting from the Titanic star — formerly romantically linked to catwalk stunners Gisele Bundchen and Bar Rafaeli.

“She’s really clicked with him, but she’s taking it very slowly. She doesn’t want to be just another notch on Leo’s bedpost.”

Roxy Olin Joins “The City”

Whitney Port’s high school bestie is joining the cast of The City. Roxy Olin has been cast as Whitney’s new roommate on the spinoff of MTV’s wildly-popular docudrama The Hills.

“I’ve grown up with Whitney,” the actress — who also appears on the ABC drama Brothers & Sisters — told PEOPLE. “I danced with her for four years in high school, and our boyfriends were best friends, so we were always friends. We went our separate ways, but we reconnected instantly. We hang out everyday.”

Although The City is tagged as a “reality” show, Roxy cautions viewers not to believe everything they see.

“They’re only showing one part of who I am,” she said of The City. “They make me out to be a little bitch, but I’m not really at all.”

Fans will meet Roxy when the second season of The City premieres on MTV this Tuesday night.

In an entry on her Official Blog Monday, The City star shared her magazine cover debut with fans, writing:

“So what do you guys think of my first magazine cover???? “Wonder Kid: Today’s Gifted Youth!” Yeah, I was a pretty big deal when I was two years old haha! Juuuuust kidding!!!”

“My parents used to love doing silly, yet slightly cheesy, portraits like this and I thought you guys would find this as hilarious as I did when I saw it :),” Whit added.

Whitney Port, star of MTV’s The City, served as honorary opening pitcher at last Thursday night’s match-up between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Mets.

The L.A.-born Whitney — a lifelong Dodgers fanatic — blogged about the May 21 event on her Official Blog over the weekend.

“It was so cool because I’ve been a Dodgers fan my whole life,” The City star exclaimed. “So it was really special to be there with my entire family.”

“I’m pretty proud of myself. For someone who hasn’t played in quite a few years I think I did pretty well,” Whit added.

Whitney currently resides in New York City, where she lends her signature style to designer Diane Von Furstenberg.

The star of MTV’s The City told Cosmo in their May issue that her reality show is just too much to cope with sometimes: “I break down a couple of times a week, at least. It gets overwhelming. Sometimes I think that I can’t take this anymore. I just want to live a normal life.”

Whitney Port’s a big fan of Robert Pattinson, but when it comes to the Twilight film franchise that catapulted the British idol fame….Um…Not so much.

Whitney has admitted that she’s no fan of the vampire love story that rocked theaters last December, “I haven’t read the books, but I saw the movie,” The City star said in an interview with MTV News on Monday. “I thought the movie was really bad. I love whatever his name is … Robert [Pattinson]. I think he’s so good-looking and handsome. I haven’t met him.”

(Am I the only woman in America who thinks this dude looks like a werewolf? I mean really, he’s not that great looking….)

Whitney was less forgiving when quizzed on her feelings about Kristen Stewart, who plays Robert’s love interest “Bella” in film, saying: “She’s OK. She seems so serious, like she’s so one-dimensional,” she said. “I think [Stewart and Pattinson] have good chemistry … I just didn’t think the acting was so good.”

Whitney Port is kicking herself over a series of provocative paparazzi snaps that hit the Net after she was caught in a bikini malfunction while filming scenes for her MTV reality show, The City, in Miami last weekend.

“Okay, so a couple photos were captured while I was in Miami that weren’t the most discreet, and I’m sorry if they offended anyone, but I got too caught up in the sunshine and the weather that, I guess, I wasn’t as cautious as I should have been,” Whitney wrote on her Web site Tuesday.

“Everyone knows the rough and tumble of the ocean, mixed with a bathing suit — not the most attractive thing ever!” she goes on. “So sorry for the view… very embarrassing to say the least! I guess all I can do now is laugh about it and move on!”
