Live from New York….it’s Taylor Swift! Kanye better beware! Country cutie Taylor Swift will host Saturday Night Live on Nov. 7, NBC announced Thursday.

The 19-year-old, who performed on the sketch comedy series in January, will be hosting for the first time, and she’s already got a few idea.

“I’ve been thinking about skit ideas for a long time,” Taylor told The Associated Press. “There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits.” Read the rest of this entry »

Taylor Swift is still adjusting to her fans pestering her for autographs, but the 19-year-old was downright horrified when a 40-year-old fan had her autograph tattooed across her midsection.

Taylor initially thought the middle-aged woman was joking and couldn’t believe it when she returned with the ink etched on her skin.

Taylor said: “I was signing autographs one time when this woman asked, ‘Can you sign my stomach? I’m going to get it tattooed on!’ I was like, ‘Yeah, alright. Sure.’ I signed it really big across her stomach. She came back an hour later with it tattooed on. I’m not kidding. And she was in her 40s, so old enough to know better. That’s dedication though!”

Um, is this supposed to look like Taylor Swift, because it looks more like one of the cashiers at my local supermarket. The body movements are perfect, but the face is a little weird! Anywho, tween girls everywhere are beside themselves with glee over the news that the America’s Favorite Country Cutie has joined forces with Band Hero. The new video game will feature several of Taylor’s family-friendly anthems, including “Love Story,” “You Belong with Me,” and “Picture to Burn.”

The global music sensation and best selling artist of 2008 will ascend on an all-new virtual stage when Band Hero hits stores just in time for the holidays this November.

In fact — Taylor received a bouquet of flowers from one fellow superstar.

“It’s wonderful to have so much love and support sent in my direction,” Taylor told Ryan. “I got flowers from Janet Jackson!”

Kanye West is bad for your PC. The viral craze based on the rapper’s humiliation of Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards is being used by cybercriminals to install malicious software onto computers.

The comedic craze, known as “Imma Let You Finish,” imposes mashups of West’s words – “Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you and I’m gonna (sic) let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time” – over footage of other famous moments in history. Barack Obama, Neil Armstrong, and Adolf Hitler have been remixed to show West interrupting their moments.

Kanye West has personally apologized to Taylor Swift. Representatives from ABC’s daytime gabfest The View have announced that the embattled rapper called the 19-year-old country star after her appearance on Tuesday’s show to say that he sorry for hijacking her MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech on Sunday.

Taylor has accepted the apology, telling Taylor told ABC News Radio: “Kanye did call me and he was very sincere in his apology and I accepted that apology.”

On The View Tuesday, country star Taylor Swift chatted with the ladies about her run-in with Kanye West at Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards.

“I think my overall thought process went something like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe I won. This is awesome. Don’t trip and fall. I’m going to get to thank the fans. This is so cool. Oh, Kanye West is here! Cool haircut,” Taylor giggled. “What are you doing?’ And then ‘Ouch.’ And then, ‘I guess I’m not gonna get to thank the fans.” Read the rest of this entry »
