Singer/songwriter Taylor Swift is adding a new job title to her resume: greeting card extraordinaire.
The 19-year-old — recently walked away with Entertainer of the Year and three other awards at the Country Music Association Awards last week — has signed up to create a collection of greetings in cooperation with American Greetings Corp.

Taylor and Taylor bond over Taylor?
As if it wasn’t adorable enough, that country star Taylor Swift, 19, and Twilight’s Taylor Lautner, 17, are reportedly dating, word is both Taylors are huge fans of film icon Elizabeth Taylor!
GLOBE writes: “The teen lovebirds each has a collection of signed memorabilia from the 77-year-old acting legend which they purchased on eBay, and spend much of their time together watching her old movies on DVD.”
Wynonna issues Swift apology for CMAs diss……Wynonna Judd has apologized to Taylor Swift after taking a swipe at the 19-year-old singing superstar before her big night at the CMA Awards, where she walked away with the Entertainer of the Year trophy on Wednesday night.
Prior to the ceremony, Wynonna told USA TODAY that she felt Taylor was too young to be nominated for such a prestigious award, adding that the honor was “too much, too soon … Time is God’s way of keeping everything from happening at once. It’s just too much of a good thing soon … I want kids to earn it.”

Carrie pulls a Kanye! Is Carrie Underwood feeling the effects of losing her “Country Girl It” status to a 19-year-old with a guitar? Some viewers are suggesting that Carrie purposely interrupted co-host Brad Paisley as he praised Taylor Swift at the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville on Wednesday.
FYI, Carrie lost the Best Female Vocalist prize to young champion Taylor earlier in the night.
On Wednesday, Taylor Swift became the youngest artist to ever win the Country Music Association Awards’ Entertainer of the Year prize at last night’s 43rd Annual CMAs. But country legend Wynonna Judd — formerly of The Judds — fears the 19-year-old isn’t seasoned enough for the honor.
“You want my honest comment? It’s too much too soon,” the singer, now 45, told USA Today before the show. “Time is God’s way of keeping everything from happening at once. It’s just too much of a good thing too soon.”
Jealous much?
“My thing is, being a home-school mom, I want kids to earn it, and I think some time … ’cause mom and I rode in a car for the first year of our career to visit radio stations. There was a making of the star, there was a rising up, and the fans went with us,” Wynonna explained. “Now it’s over coffee breaks, the success, almost. have to play catch up … It’s like the girl who wins an Oscar and she’s under 20. What do you do from here?”

Taylor Swift was among the big winners at the 2009 BMI Country Awards in Nashville last night – she picked up the Song of the Year trophy for her hit single “Love Story.”
It’s the second consecutive year the star has picked up the coveted prize, she won the same award in 2008 for the song “Teardrops On My Guitar.” This is a big week for Taylor, who will contend for the Entertainer of the Year prize at the Country Music Association Awards later this evening.
Shakira isn’t seeing red after being poked fun at by country-pop rocker Taylor Swift on last weekend’s Saturday Night Live.
The Colombian with the most famous hips in music celebrated the release of her new album, She Wolf, at a Rolling Stone party in New York Monday and couldn’t stop laughing after Access Hollywood played her the clip of Taylor impersonating the Latin pop tart’s signature moves for SNL’s “Bunny Business” skit.
“That’s crazy,” Shakira said. “I feel flattered. I love Taylor,” the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer added. “I think she’s awesome. She’s beautiful and a great talent and that is just really, really funny.”
Another track has leaked from John Mayer’s forthcoming album Battle Studies, prior to its Nov. 17 release date: “Half of My Heart,” a duet with country starlet Taylor Swift.
The “Love Story” singer is a big fan of the rocker but never dreamed she’d get to sing one of his songs.
“I was so excited when he Twitter-messaged me. He was like, ‘Hey, I just wrote this song this morning and I can only hear you singing on it with me. I was like, ‘Yes!’”
