Tattles close to the deal say the actress posed entirely naked for the iconic men’s mag at a private residence in Santa Monica, California on Oct. 7.

Tara had said in the past that she would never pose for Playboy, saying, “I know there are problems with my stomach. There are bumps on it, it’s uneven, but it’s not that bad. My stomach scars are my battle wounds.” An insider describes the out-of-work actress as nervous during the first few shots.

“She was a bit insecure about her body when they first started. She looked great and finally got into the groove.”

Reformed party girl Tara Reid is so desperate for a career comeback that she has been ringing producers of Dancing With The Stars with an offer to do the ABC ballroom reality series for free.

Over the years, the often-unemployed actress has consistently lobbied producers to let her do the show, but they’ve turned her down each year. Now that she’s apparently clean and sober after a stint in rehab late last year, Tara she feels that DWTS is her best chance to promote herself.

“Tara wants a comeback. She’s willing to forego a paycheque for publicity.”

The actress was expected to finalize her comeback as Vicki Lathum from the first two American Pie films on April 10, but sources have told MovieHole.net that negotiations could not be done in time.

Original American Pie star Eugene Levy, best known as “Jim’s Dad,” crooner Wayne Newton, and The Jeffersons’ Sherman Helmsley are slated to appear in the franchise’s latest film, Book of Love.

Tara Reid is set to taste American Pie again.

The troubled former party girl has been roped in to reprise her character Vicki Lathum in the next film in the sex-crazed comedy franchise.

According to MovieHole.net, Tara, 33, will star alongside Las Vegas crooner Wayne Newton and The Jeffersons’ own Sherman Hemsley in the forthcoming seventh American Pie movie film in Book Of Love. Rounding out the cast will be Eugene Levy, the only original American Pie star appear in all six films.

The film will be Tara’s first since checking into Malibu’s Promises Rehab on December 8, where she spent the holidays fighting an alcohol abuse problem with a sixty day stay at the center.

Tara Reid is rehabbing on the house!

Star Magazine reports the washed-up American Pie star checked herself into rehab after receiving an offer for a free ride at Malibu’s Promises Treatment Center.

After being hit particularly hard by the global recession, the $1,600 a night treatment facility, which has treated addicted celebrities like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, is now offering pro bono rehab to celebrity drug addicts.

“Enrollment was down due to the bad economy, so in an effort to drum publicity, they asked around Hollywood to see who wanted to stay there for free.”

Actress Tara Reid has entered rehab.

“Tara Reid has checked herself into Promises Treatment Center. We appreciate your respect to her and her family’s privacy at this time,” the actress’s rep Jack Ketsoyan tells PEOPLE.

The rep would not reveal what the troubed 33-year-old star, who launched the fashion line Mantra in September, is being treated for.

Tara, a once notorious party girl, has had difficulty securing acting gigs since her body was severely disfigured by botched cosmetic surgery several years ago.

The out-of-work actress was left disfigured after undergoing breast augmentation and liposuction in 2004.

Tara tells People Magazine: “I know there are problems with my stomach. There are bumps on it, it’s uneven, but it’s not that bad.”

“I like a tanned stomach so that’s why I’m going to keep wearing a bikini. It’s my choice.”

She’s careful to add, “Would I do the cover of Playboy? No. But my boyfriend thinks I’m sexy, and that’s all I care about.”

Used to think she was so hot back in the day. But after going through the plastic surgery ringer, not so much. She should sue her surgeon(s).

Troubled actress Tara Reid will debut a new line of bikinis and casualwear at the Project Fashion Show in Las Vegas on Monday.

Tara’s Mantra line of fashions features designs decorated with trinkets, charms, and beads in eight vibrant colors meant to inspire emotions.

“It’s about putting into the universe what you want in life: Red means love, pink is friendship, green is lucky, black is protection,” says Tara, who describes herself as a charm bracelet aficionado. “You’re gonna have a story when you wear this bikini or when you put this dress on: You’ll either get love or meet a new friend or you might meet a guy.”

Tara hopes Mantra, with items priced between $65-$180, will be picked up by a major department store and available for purchase by early next year.

“I feel like I’m in a really great place in my life, and I love what I’m doing. I love acting but I can’t hire myself. If this works, then we’re in business. If not, I tried.”
