Susan Boyle, who became an overnight sensation and a YouTube legend after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent last spring, is to release a cover of Aubrey Hepburn’s Oscar-winning classic “Moon River.”

The 48-year-old Scot has selected the song, which was originally sung in the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany’s, to be the first single from her forthcoming debut album, expected later this year.

The White House was prompted into moving President Obama’s latest primetime news conference to 8 PM on Wednesday, July 22, after NBC expressed reservations about pulling the plug on Susan’s appearance on America’s Got Talent so the President could take over the airwaves at 9 PM, the time originally set aside for the live broadcast.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network was not interested in silencing the most-watched show on summer TV so that Obama could spend an hour talking about healthcare.

“I think Susan has an amazing voice, but she needs to work on the pose,” Paris says of the Britain’s Got Talent runner-up.

Heather took to her Twitter page to find out what all the fuss is about.

“Sorry, who is Susan Boyle, no disrespect intended?” she wrote in a Tweet last week.

But Heather became a fast fan after watching the clip of Susan’s now-infamous performance of “I Dreamed A Dream.”

“Wow, what a great voice Susan Boyle has,” she wrote later. “Wish I had time to watch telly. Too much travelling. I just watch DVD box sets.”
