The YouTube celebrity who become a media darling after appearing on the UK talent program earlier this year will release her first album in the US on Nov. 24.
The album features 11 covers and one orginal song, titled “Who I Was Born To Be.”

Britain’s Got Talent breakout star Susan Boyle performed in the U.S. for the first time on Wednesday night’s season finale of America’s Got Talent. The Scottish “Hairy Angel” sang her new single, a cover of The Rolling Stones classic “Wild Horses,” and seemed poised on stage.
Her performance pulled in a staggering 25 million viewers.

Studio bosses are reportedly interested in turning the Britain’s Got Talent runner-up’s life story into a Hollywood film — with the star of television’s Mork & Mindy in the lead role.

International singing sensation Susan Boyle underwent a glamorous transformation for a series of elegant snaps featured in the September issue of high-end fashion mag Harper’s Bazaar — available on newsstands August 11.
Susan will be featured in various designer outfits in a spread called “Susan Boyle: Unsung Hero.”
“The idea behind the shoot was a very, very simple one,” says Laura Brown, Harper’s Special Projects Editor. “It was to take gorgeous, glamorous and sensitive portraits of her. This was her first magazine photo shoot, so you can’t do too much too soon.”
“What we did on our shoot was give her a little bit of a haircut, and that was it, and a little bit of a curl. And actually the shape of her hair is great. She’s got a really lovely curl to it. So we just tidied it up a little bit and paired it with some natural makeup, and she looked great,” Brown added.
Boyle, who rose to fame as the silk-voiced “Hairy Angel” on the fourth season of Britain’s Got Talent, is readying her debut album for release later this year.
