The Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell, and Sugarland are the first performers announced for “The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night,” The Associated Press has learned.

The special marks the second time nominations for music’s biggest night will be announced live on primetime TV. NCIS star LL Cool J will return as host of the one-hour special, which take place Dec. 2, at Club NOKIA in Los Angeles and will air on CBS @ 9 PM EST.

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will air live from The Staples Center on Jan. 31, 2010, on CBS.

Country music superstars Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Sugarland and Darius Rucker will each give a performance on The Oprah Winfrey Show next Tuesday, April 14.

“It’s really strange. I mean, you’re under a microscope, and even if you start — you’re getting to know somebody, you just met them — they have you married off next week, you know what I mean? So it’s a little difficult and it’s a little difficult to know people’s intentions, I think,” Carrie said of dating in the public during her post-performance interview with Oprah.
