Legal eagle-turned-television personality Star Jones is recovering in a New York City hospital after undergoing heart surgery earlier this week.

Star Jones is out on The Insider.
The former View moderator has been ousted from her position as a panelist on the syndicated celebrity newsmagazine after sparring with a show producer over creative differences, according to a new tabloid report. Production insiders say Jones found herself in the middle of a verbal spat with a superior that nearly turned physical and led to the outspoken chatterbox being led out of the studio by security.

Rosie O’Donnell and Star Jones will not be taking the world of reality TV by storm, despite a report in the new issue of In Touch Weekly.
“They get along quite well and have a wicked sense of humor when they’re together. Everyone keeps telling them they need to capture it on camera and now they’ve decided to,” a TV tattle allegedly told the tab.
However, reps for the frenemies — who formerly appeared as commentators on ABC’s The View — say they have no plans to get back in front of the cameras together.
“Ridiculous,” Rosie’s rep told Access Hollywood. “[There’s] no truth to it.”
Star’s publicist also denied the report.
Rosie, who will be hosting her own radio program on Sirius XM later this year, currently appears as a recurring guest star on the Lifetime comedy Drop Dead Diva.
