Do you want the Spice Girls to reunite? Then you got what you wanted. Rumor has it that the British pop group is set to reunite and perform at the closing ceremonies of the London Olympic Games. Spice Girls Reunite for Launch of Musical Biography “Viva Forever”

Squeal! The Spice Girls — the most popular girl group of the 1990s — reunited in London this morning, just ahead of the launch of Viva Forever: The Musical, a stage show based around the origins of the popular band.

This is the first time all five Spice Girls — Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown — have been pictured together since their reunion tour in 2008. The ladies were joined by producer Judy Craymer and Jennifer Saunders, who penned the new production.

Spice Girls to Reunite for Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee?

It isn’t official yet, so don’t go digging through your closets in search of old Spice Girls merchandise — but word on the curb has it that the girl group who made the expression “Girl Power” a ’90s catchphrase will be temporarily regroup in June.
