It’s official. Nigel Lythgoe is proud to announce that Katie Holmes will grace the stage for the 100th episode of So You Think You Can Dance on July 23.
The actress will dance in a tribute to Judy Garland choreographed by Tyce Diorio. Mrs. Cruise plans to donate her entire appearance fee to the Dizzy Feet Foundation, a charity founded by Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba and Hollywood producer Adam Shankman to provide scholarship opportunities for underprivileged dancers.
We hear Katie Holmes has been spotted at dance studios around Los Angeles several times over the past few weeks; the star is reportedly rehearsing for a “special performance” on an upcoming episode of the smash FOX reality hit, So You Think You Can Dance.
Life & Style sources claim the former star of Broadway’s All My Sons is in serious discussions to appear on talent competition later this year.
“She’s met with judge and producer Nigel Lythgoe and everyone hopes she appears on this season or next season of the show,” says a show insider.
Good news, dance show fans. Fox will add its summer smash So You Think You Can Dance to its Fall schedule later this year, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
Season Six of the dance competition will reportedly premiere in the Fall as part of the FOX Wednesday-Thursday night lineup.
