“When I lived in New York it was one of the happiest times of my life. I think you always have an affinity for the place you’re born,” says Sienna, 28 — who admits there’s a downside that comes with moving to the UK early in life. “When people find out I was born in New York they think I’m faking my British accent,” she laments.

The G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra star is back in the Big Apple to star in the Broadway production of After Miss Julie.

“To be on Broadway was an absolute dream, since I was little. I always wanted to do theatre.”

In a giggly interview with NBC’s The Tonight Show Wednesday, klutzy maneater Sienna Miller recalled her experiences learning to fly and fire a gun on the set of the new summer blockbuster G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra — in theaters Friday.

Earlier this week, Sienna spoke out about her relationship with married actor, Balthazar Getty. “The situation I got into was not ideal, but it happened and if I could go back and be more responsible, I would,” she said. “I probably would be less naive about ignoring the fact that people care.”

G.I. Joe opens in theaters this Friday, August 7.

Sienna Miller experienced a “Fergie-style” photo-op nightmare when she showed up at the photocall for G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra at London’s HMS Belfast on Wednesday with soaking wet pants.

Don’t be alarmed, no bladder control issues her. The bed-hopping vixen’s wet backside is being blamed on the fact that the cast arrived via boat — Sienna was splashed as she exited the tiny vessel.

The blonde beauty is currently in Australia promoting the new sci-fi thriller GI Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, but she lost her cool in a telephone interview with Aussie station Fox FM.

Sienna began datng Getty last summer, just after he and his estranged wife had just had their fourth child.
He later announced he had split from his wife, although neither has yet filed for divorce.

Sienna told jock Adam Richard to “piss off” and called him a “douche bag” after he asked whether she was still seeing the star.

“You’ve called us scrags, bitches, knocked-up. We are not here to talk about him (Getty). But, yes, I know him and everything’s good, thank you. What a scoop! Congratulations! You’re really, really clever!” she snapped.

Richard quickly apologized for upset the actress: “I didn’t mean to step on your toes.”

But Sienna sharply fired back: “You’re going there.”

The actress plays femme fatal The Baroness in The Rise of Cobra and was injured after getting too close to a controlled explosion.

“Luckily it wasn’t my breasts, it was the bit in-between. It got a bit burned when an explosion got a bit close,” she explains.

The blonde vixen — who has been romantically-linked to a series of entertainment’s leading men — also revealed she hated wearing her character’s black leather catsuit.

“I won’t be wearing one again. Squeezing myself into that with the aid of talcum powder every day for five months was more than enough. I could barely move in it anyway.”

She added: “You know, ‘G.I. Joe’, it’s not going to be the best acting work we’ve ever done.”

In the July issue of Vogue Magazine, the actress — who has previously dated actors Balthazar Getty and Jude Law — says: “I’ve actually never been taken on a date in my whole life. I have never had a one-night stand. I’m a real relationship person — contrary to public perception . . . I get kind of emotionally involved very quickly, and I’m not going to spend time with someone unless I love them. But it’s not hard for me to fall in love.”

Sienna Miller dashed from Miami to Los Angeles to visit Josh Hartnett after hearing the actor had been hospitalised with gastrointestinal problems, sparking speculation they two have been quietly dating.

Sienna was most recently romantically linked to married Brothers and Sisters star Balthazar Getty.

A source told X17Online: “Sienna had just 24 hours to fly all the way to Los Angeles to see Josh. She was very concerned and wanted to be sure he knew how much she cared for him.”

Josh was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Sunday after complaining of “excruciating” abdominal pain. The 30-year-old actor had reportedly been experiencing such discomfort for months.
