Shia LaBeouf will support U.S.VETS by racing in the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday March, 21.
The Wall Street 2 actor will join thousands of L.A. joggers to help bring attention to the nation’s lead nonprofit organization providing services to veterans in need.
The race begins at Dodgers Stadium and winds for 26.2 miles through the city, wrapping up in Santa Monica.
“We are delighted and grateful to have Mr. LaBeouf participate in the marathon on our behalf,” says U.S.VETS President and CEO Dwight Radcliff. “Shia’s father is a Vietnam veteran and running the marathon is a significant way to honor his father’s service and the military service of others.”
Josh Brolin, Shia LaBeouf, and original star Michael Douglas has teamed up for Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps, a modern-day follow-up to Oliver Stone’s 1987 cinema classic.
