Sherri centers around a newly single mom, paralegal, and part-time comedienne/actress trying to get back into the dating scene after a messy divorce. A sneak peek week of Sherri kicks off Monday, October 5 @ 7PM, before officially taking its home on Lifetime Tuesdays @ 10PM October 13.

Sherri chose a black one-piece and wore black stilettos as she strutted down the runway to “I’m Every Woman.”

The once-robust comedienne has transformed her Size 16 frame down to a Size 6. You betta work!

“I feel really great,” Sherri said. “….I hope some folks were inspired.”

Hilarity ensues as the normally ditzy Sherri battles through her first-ever round of wax therapy.

On the ride pver to the salon, Sherri complains to companions that despite being married for more than a decade, she has never waxed any of the hair from her private area. (Which probably explains why she recently divorced, but we digress.) She says she simply didn’t see the point of grooming that area of her body when she had already managed to land a husband. Huh? Adding to Sherri’s frustration is the fact that no one bothered to tell her that she would be getting the particularly cringeworthy Brazilian bikini wax.

“This is worse than having a baby…”

One word: Ouch!

Hey Daytime TV fans, don’t forget that Sherri Shepherd, the mind-numbingly ditzy co-host of The View, will make a special appearance on MyNetworkTV’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown this Friday, May 1st. The event, taped at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday, features the 30 Rock guest star climbing into the as the United States Championship goes on the line.

Sherri Shepherd is stepping into the ring. The View’s resident noodle noggin will make a special appearance on WWE Friday Night SmackDown when World Wrestling Entertainment drops into NYC’s Madison Square Garden May 1.

Sherri –who celebrated her birthday with her fellow View moderators on Wednesday– will play along with a running SmackDown storyline by climbing into the corner with WWE Superstar MVP on next week’s show.

Sherri stops by SmackDown on Friday, May 1, airing @ 8PM on MyNetworkTV.

Lifetime has ordered a pilot for a still-yet-untitled comedy loosely based on Sherri’s once troubled love life, The Hollywood Reporter reported on Wednesday.

In the pilot, Sherri, who’ll remain on staff as a co-host pf The View, will play a woman who lets her husband’s mistress and child move in with them.

As Whoopi would say, “Sherri, you in danger, girl!”

In another sign of the deepening recession, cash-strapped ABC execs are reportedly looking to let go of one of the five co-hosts on its popular daytime chatfest The View, and we hear dizty co-host Sherri Shepherd is well on her way to becoming the next Star Jones.

Sherri’s name is tops on a list of View chatterboxes who could be slammed with a pink slip in coming weeks because she hasn’t contributed too much in her 17 months on the Emmy-winning talk show, network insiders revealed to Star Magazine this week.

Hey, hey, hey. Now that’s not fair. Sherri’s contributed plenty since joining the cast of The View. Take September 2007 for instance, when the comedienne stated–with a straight face might we add–that she isn’t sure whether the Earth is round or flat. Or how about the time that she frantically worried that allowing her son, Jeffrey, to play with dolls would turn the toddler into a homosexual as an adult? Let us not foget that whole “Jesus Predates Everything” Brouhaha. Tell us those gems don’t come in handy when you need a few chuckles. Sherri brings on the LOLs.

How much more can a girl contribute?!

“Sherri hasn’t won many fans,” tattles tell Star. “Polls show that she is unpopular and comes across as an airhead.”

Sherri shares her co-hosting duties with Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters, Joy Behar, and lone conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Would you be happy to see Sherri leave The View?

ABC is reportedly courting The View co-host Sherri Shepherd for a spot as a celebrity hoffer on the next season of Dancing With the Stars-and it sounds like the ditzy comedy queen may be up for the ballroom challenge.

“I’d love to do that show — I am such a fan!” Sherri told In Touch Magazine this week. “Oh, my goodness! I am so in love with Maksim [Chmerkovskiy], but he’s engaged! And Tony Dovolani’s married! I mean, they’re all freakin’ taken! I just want to get a ‘pas doble’ with somebody on that show!”

Sherri Shepherd lost it on The View this morning.

The dingbat was uncharacteristically articulate as she discussed the sacrifices made during the Civil Rights Movement and how that turbulent period in history made it possible for the nation to elect its first president of color on Tuesday.

“I know that there are people who have died, who should be with us, who did it,” she said. “Regular people — Reverend George Lee, Emmett Till — and so to look at my baby and say, you don’t have to have limitations….”

Sherri spoke of being told that she should get a job at the post office because she’d never be an actress.

Barbara then asked, “So why were you undecided to the last minute?” To which Sherri replied, “She (Sarah Palin) spoke to me, but this spoke to me more.”
