Beverly Hills, 90210 star Shenae Grimes has prompted whispers that she may be hiding a substance abuse problem after weeks of questionable behavior on and off of the set of the teen drama.

The 19-year-old actress was “totally wired-practically vibrating” when she hosted The Gemini Awards in her hometown of Toronto on November 28, spywitnesses tell Star Magazine.

“It’s impossble to be that high-energy without some help.”

Shenae is reportedly partying so frequently that “she’s been showing up late for filming.” She’s even forgetting her lines, says one set mole.

“People on set are complaining that she’s more trouble than she’s worth.”

“I’ve never seen Jessica or Shenae eat,” a show source tells Us Weekly. “They are trying too hard to be skinny, and it’s started to wear on them. It’s just not healthy.”

“I heard some of the boys on the show are going to sit down with the girls and talk to them.”

Show sources told Page Six that Grimes was “tormenting everyone on set” and “acts rude to the cast, crew and extras.” Our insider told us Grimes even once yelled at an unassuming guest star, “Who the hell are you?” and often spits out comments like “This is my show – everyone else is riding my coattails.”

But when the cameras stop rolling, friends say Shenae has a very different prospective of Shannen.

Shenae recently spent a night out on the town blasting the reformed baddie to a circle of friends; apparently, Shenae finds the notoriously snotty Shannen very hard to get along with.

“She actually referred to Shannen as an ‘effin bitch’ and said from the first moment Shannen walked onto the set she’s been acting like she’s special,” a friend says of the former Degrassi: The Next Generation actress.

According to the anonymous National Enquirer spy, “Shenae was saying that Shannen talks down to the costume designers and caterers like they’re her servants and prances around the set like she’s Hollywood royalty.”

“No one can stand her!” Shenae gossiped to pals.
