Sharon Stone was reportedly detained by police in Salt Lake City after the actress got into a very public screaming match with a flight attendant for refusing to comply with flight restrictions. After boarding a flight from Kalispell, Montana to Salt Lake City, Sharon was asked to check her second bag in, which sent the star raging.

“The flight attendant in Kalispell asked her to gate check her bag and Sharon refused and got into a huge fight with her,” says an eyewitness. “They eventually took the bag from her and she screamed at her assistant with her and made a scene during the entire flight.”

“When the plane got to Salt Lake City it was met by armed Salt Lake City police officers. She was detained. Its not clear if she was arrested.”

Paul Bloch, Sharon’s rep, spins a different tale.

“Sharon had been visiting her father in Montana, and was approved to take both bags on the plane. When she got to the plane, she told me the stewardess screamed at her that she couldn’t take both bags on board,” said Bloch.

The publicist adds that the person who met her at the airport was “private security hired by Sharon. She was not detained by police.”

According to FOX News, the Golden Globe-winning Casino star is looking for a publishing deal to release a set of mystery “thrillers.”

The Hollywood Walk of Fame stars of actresses Sharon Stone andd Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were defaced and smudged with the words “FUR HAGS!” by anti-fur campaigners over the weekend.

Activists supporting animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have made a campaign of routinely discouraging the use of fur and protesting against the torture inflicted on animals as part of the fur trade.

Sharon Stone is blasting court documents that claim she wanted her son to receive Botox treatments for a “foot odor.”

“This week it was reported in connection with Sharon Stone’s custody dispute that she wanted to have her young 8 year-old son undergo Botox treatment at this time for his feet. Sharon Stone never made this statement. It is a complete fabrication,” her attorney Martin Singer said in a statement Thursday.

“Sharon loves her son Roan and only wants the best for him.”

If the incredibly insensitive “Chinese Earthquake Karma” comment wasn’t enough of a dead giveaway for you, let there be no more doubt.

Court documents from the Golden Globe-winning actress’ recent custody battle with ex-husband Phil Bronstein are offering some bizarre glimpses into requests Sharon concerning the couple’s 8-year-old son, Roan.

In the documents, obtained by TMZ, a judge writes, “the testimony of Father, Mother and Dr. Lee indicated that Mother appears to overreact to many medical issues involving [the child].”

Court papers claim that Sharon believed her son suffered from a spinal illness when there was “no evidence to support this allegation.”

The star is also accused of trying to obtain Botox injections for Roan as a remedy for a persistent foot odor. WTF? The boy’s father, on the other hand, simply suggested wearing socks with shoes and using foot deodorant.

The court also wrote that “unless Mother’s schedule is accommodated and her demands are met, she has simply refused to participate in the counseling processes designed entirely to help her son. Such conduct on the part of any parent, especially a parent of a child with special needs, is unacceptable and does not serve the child’s best interest.”

“The evidence is clear that Father is not only prepared to be responsible for [his son's] day-to-day care but has been over the last three years … In addition, Father spends time with [his son]. He is available to [his son] in the morning and evening.”

“In contrast, the Mother delegates many of her parenting responsibilities to third parties and while this Court in no way faults Mother for having to travel for her career, she is simply unavailable for [her son] on a consistent basis.”

The court has transferred full custody of Roan to his father Phil. Sharon will have visitation rights one weekend a month. Her son will also spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at her home.

How’s this for karma? Sharon Stone has lost custody of her 8-year-old son, Roan, The Associated Press and Entertainment Tonight report.

According to court documents from a September 12, 2008 custody hearing, the actress’ ex-husband, Phil Bronstein “shall have permanent sole physical custody of child. Court finds that Respondent (Sharon Stone) failed to meet her burden of proof and denies Respondent’s (Sharon Stone’s) request for modification of custody. The judge also notes this order is permanent unless there is a change of circumstances.”

Sharon and Phil, a newspaper editor, divorced in early 2004.

Chase Dreyfous, 24, hasn’t stopped bragging about thes relationship to all of his friends. “I’ve started dating Sharon Stone, and she’s pretty good for 50,” the young man reportedly told pals at a party earlier this month.

The couple met when Chase worked for the Sharon charity, Planet Hope.

“She’s really into him and even asked him to come with her to Mexico,” a Stone source tells In Touch Weekly.

About 1,000 Chinese citizens are threatening to sue actress Sharon Stone for $1 Billion. It all stems from Shar’s public proclamation that the catastrophic earthquake that rocked China last May was the result of “karma” for the nation’s treatment of Tibet. New York City attorney Ming Hai’s says she intends to sue the Basic Instinct star for harming Chinese people.

“For the families who have lost their loved ones or lost limbs or suffered severe injuries, your … statement and act has caused extreme emotional distress,” Ming wrote of the controversial comments Stone made at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.

The good folks over at People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals want Sharon Stone to get her head examined. Between Sharon’s controversial “karma” comment concerning last Spring’s devastating earthquake in China and the Golden Globe winner’s love of furry and feathered accessories, the animal rights group is convinced Sharon has defective personality.

PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk sent Stone a letter volunteering to “pay for a scan of the prefrontal region of [her] brain to determine if comments and actions that seem to demonstrate a lack of empathy are the result of a physical defect.”

Newkirk writes: “Scientific studies suggest that the prefrontal regions of the brains of people who lack empathy might be underdeveloped. Here’s our offer: Would you allow PETA to pay for a scan of the prefrontal region of your brain to determine if comments and actions that seem to demonstrate a lack of empathy are the result of a physical defect?”

Sharon, a devoted AIDS activist suffered a brain hemorrhage in 2001.

French fashion house Christian Dior has dropped actress Sharon Stone from it’s Chinese advertisments following the 50 year-old Golden Globe winner’s comment stating that China’s recent earthquake may have been bad karma for its treatment of Tibet.

“I’m not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else. And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, is that karma? When you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?”

Sharon has issueed “deeply sorry” for causing anguish and anger among Chinese people with her remarks in an interview at the Cannes Film Festival last week.

“Due to my inappropriate words and acts during the interview, I feel deeply sorry and sad about hurting Chinese people,” the actress said in the statement. “I am willing to take part in the relief work of China’s earthquake, and wholly devote myself to helping affected Chinese people.”
