About 1,000 Chinese citizens are threatening to sue actress Sharon Stone for $1 Billion. It all stems from Shar’s public proclamation that the catastrophic earthquake that rocked China last May was the result of “karma” for the nation’s treatment of Tibet. New York City attorney Ming Hai’s says she intends to sue the Basic Instinct star for harming Chinese people.
“For the families who have lost their loved ones or lost limbs or suffered severe injuries, your … statement and act has caused extreme emotional distress,” Ming wrote of the controversial comments Stone made at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.

The good folks over at People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals want Sharon Stone to get her head examined. Between Sharon’s controversial “karma” comment concerning last Spring’s devastating earthquake in China and the Golden Globe winner’s love of furry and feathered accessories, the animal rights group is convinced Sharon has defective personality.
