Pink and Shakira made quite an entrance at MTV’s 26th Annual Video Music Awards in New York this Sunday night, when the sexy songstresses showed up wearing the same sparkly mini-dress!

Pop’s favorite hip-shaker returns to the music scene with the release of her third English-language LP, She Wolf, on Oct. 13.
The album’s lead single, also titled “She Wolf,” premiered in July and peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Shakira is putting the finishing touches her new album, set for release September 25. The follow-up to her platinum-selling 2005 effort Oral Fixation Vol.1 & 2 will feature “Loba” as the official first (Spanish) single. Be on the lookout for the English “She Wolf” to invade the US in July.

Shakira has dismissed rumors that she is dumping her record label, insisting reports of a rift with bosses at Epic Records are “not true.”
The Grammy Award-winning “Hips Don’t Lie” singer has been dogged by speculation that she is unhappy with executives at Epic amid complaints that she feels “neglected” by her current managers and has been courting other labels.
“(The rumors are) not true. She’s very happy at Epic,” said a rep for the Columbian singer.
Shakira is going to shake her hips for the President-Elect.
According to Peruvian newspaper El Comercio, Colombian-born superstar Shakira will be performing at the inaugural celebration for Barack Obama in Washington D.C. on January 20th, 2009.
