Carrie & Co. are back! After months of being teased with photos from the New York City set, fans finally have a chance to check out what’s in store when Sex And The City 2 arrives in theaters next summer — thanks to the film’s first official trailer.
With Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ charttopping smash “Empire State of Mind” blaring in the background, the teaser presents Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie still blissfully in love with Mr. Big, Charlotte and Miranda as busy moms, and Samantha still on the prowl for men. All of the characters and their spouses return for the sequel and we even get to see the girls take a trip to the Middle East — although the short teaser trailer gives away litte about the plot of the follow-up to 2008′s box office sensation Sex And The City: The Movie.

The film reunites the franchise’s famous leading ladies — Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and Kim Cattrall — with Michael Patrick King, who wrote and directed the first film in 2008. Details about the Sex sequel have been kept tightly under wraps, so the poster — while ultra-glam — reveals virtually nothing about the plot.

Carrie Bradshaw’s teen diaries are on their way to a bookseller near you. On Tuesday, HarperCollins released the first image of the cover of Candace Bushnell’s The Carrie Diaries, a young adult book series set during the teen years of the Sex And The City protagonist.
And it appears Carrie got her start as a style maven during her days as a high school standout.
Holy script leak! Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has reportedly acquired a copy of the script of the hotly-anticipated Sex And The City sequel. According to The NY Post, the foreign publication has published several key details of the film’s plot for all the Manolo-wearing Carrie loverss who can’t wait until next spring to find out what happens when the most stylish group of friends in the Big Apple invade the big screen for the second time.
The first Sex And The City Movie filmed in New York City and Los Angeles, but the sequel is going international. Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays series protagonist Carrie Bradshaw, was photographed shooting scenes in Marrakech, Morocco on Friday. A fashionista on and off the screen, SJP wore a Christian Dior “J’adore Dior” tee with an oversized lavender skirt while on set.
