There will be no more Sex for Gilles Marini. The actor, who captured America’s heart during a triumphant performance on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars and a buzzed-about appearance as one of the sexy pieces in last year’s Sex And The City Movie, will not be returning for the highly-anticipated sequel.
According to E! Online, Gilles will not reprise his role as Samantha Jones hot neighbor when Sex And The City 2 sashays into theaters during Memorial Day Weekend 2010.
“As far as I know, he will not be in the sequel,” Gilles’ rep told E!.
Sex 2 is scheduled to begin production next month.
Miley Cyrus has been offered a role alongside Carrie Bradshaw & The Crew in the upcoming sequel to last year’s Sex And The City Movie, expected to open in theaters next May.

Producers of Sex And The City 2 are searching for a new location to shoot scenes for the eagerly-awaited sequel after they were denied permission to film in the ultra-conservative United Arab Emirates.
The big screen adaptation of the Emmy-winning HBO comedy is set in New York, but producers wanted to include scenes set in the glitzy Middle Eastern city of Dubai.
After reviewing the script, government officials have refused to allow them permission to shoot in Dubai, according to local newspaper The National. Reports suggest authorities in the country were put off by having the word “sex” in the title.
The first edition of Sex And The City was banned from theaters in Dubai when it opened in the spring of 2008. Explicit sex scenes are always cut from movies shown in Dubai cinemas. DVDs are also censored, as is access to online sex sites.
Things will be icy when Carrie & Co. hit the set of Sex And The City 2 later this year.

Katie Holmes has been tipped for the role of a “feisty businesswoman” in the next Sex And The City movie.
A follow-up to the hit 2008 film based on the longrunning HBO series is currently in the works — and Mrs. Tom Cruise is rumoured to be in negotiations to join the cast – as a rival to Kim Cattrall’s maneating Samantha.
A source tells The Sun: “The character they want her to play is a really ballsy, high-powered company executive who tangles with Samantha.”
Sex And The City 2 is slated for a May 2010 release. Shooting on the film is expected to get underway later this year.

HBO is weighing its legal options against Bravo and reality personality Bethenny Frankel as the former Real Housewives of New York City star prepares to launch her own unscripted spinoff series, Skinny & The City, on the network later this year.
FOX News spies say the Emmy-winning cable network is “very sensitive” about titles bearing any resemblance to that of its classic Sunday night smash Sex & the City and are currently looking into whether or not Bethenny’s catchy’s calling card could result in a major copyright infringement suit for Bravo.
In related news, author Tanya Zuckerbrot, registered dietitian and author of The F-Factor Diet, runs a popular weight loss website called www.skinnyandthecity.com and is also said to be none too pleased with Bravo’s plans to swipe the name for Bethenny’s show.
“While I am obviously surprised by this news, I have always felt imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. That being said, we are taking the protection of our brand and trademark extremely seriously,” Zuckerbrot told the Pop Tarts Column on Monday.

The British glamour model, also known as Jordan, is currently taking acting classes and had her first screen test for Sarah Jessica Parker’s Sex And The City 2 in Hollywood last week.
“I recently went to LA where I was doing my acting lessons for ‘Sex and the City Part 2′. They want a big-breasted English glamour girl and I have had the audition,” says the aspiring actress, who is also being courted to star in a British remake of the 1990s small screen hit Baywatch.
Katie is currently involved in a bitter divorce battle with her singer husband Peter Andre.
