Talk about a $hitty sitituation! Kim Cattrall caused a major stink on the Manhattan set of Sex And The City 2 last week — after she accidentially stepped in a flaming pile of dog doo.

It turns out, Sarah Jessica Parker’s 6-year-old son, James Wilke, was visiting the set with the family’s overactive Jack Russell terrier, who decided to use the outside of Kim trailer as his personal porta-potty.

Kim, who plays PR vixen Samantha Jones in the sex-charged comedy, was wearing her beloved pink and white Manolo Blahnik heels at the time of the incident. The British stunner nearly had a coronary when she looked down to find her treasured pumps smeared with the smelly substance, set spywitneses tell The GLOBE’s Loosch Lips Column.

“Now I’m going to have to throw these shoes out!” she bellowed. Luckily, an assistant came to the rescue and cleaned up the pricey footwear, saving the day — and Pete’s hide!

Kristin Davis initiially tried out for the part of Carrie Bradshaw before landing the role of straight-laced Uptown Girl Charlotte York on Sex And The City.

The 44-year-old has played Charlotte on the hit HBO series as well as in its two subsequent movie incarnations since 1998.

Davis met Sex creator Darren Star in 1995 when she played the devious Brooke Armstrong for one season on Melrose Place, where he was executive producer. A couple of years later, Star invited her to audition for the role of the sex columnist, Kristin claims. She said that the original role of Carrie – eventually portrayed by Sarah Jessica Parker – was “very different” from the one viewers saw.

Kristin tells The Age: “Honestly, none of the four of us are so jaded that we take it for granted. It is amazing that we still get to work together. We are sitting around the same table and chairs as we were in 1997. It still feels right.”

Sex And The City 2 opens in theaters in May 2010.

Miley Cyrus will make a cameo appearance in the Summer 2010 blockbuster Sex and The City 2, studio sources have confirmed.

High-powered attorney Miranda Hobbs was a kultzy law student back in the day. And while Carrie channeled Madonna, Charlotte was more prep than punk — sporting a lime green skirt, matching sweater around her shoulders, and a pair of white tennis shoes and bobby socks.

The ladies of Sex And The City will soon bid farewell to their beloved Big Apple and head to Morocco to shoot scenes for the franchise’s upcoming box office hit, according to Life & Style Magazine. The move comes after officials in Dubai deemed the envelope-pushing franchise to racy to take up filming in the strict United Arab Emirates,

Instead, several Middle Eastern-centered subplots in the script for Sex And The City 2 will be shot in the Moroccan cities of Erfoud, Rabat and Marrakech.

Last week, we got a look at Carrie Bradshaw before she was literature’s favorite fashionista, and now it’s Sam’s turn! Kim Catrall was spotted rocking vintage Samantha Jones on the set of Sex And The City 2 in Manhattan on Wednesday.

The maneating PR hotshot was looked bit the mid-eighties punk, complete with a denim vest, animal print pants, and huge hair. Cattrall’s Twisted Sister-inspired makeover was a big hit with New York City Police officers, who were on location to keep set spectators at bay.

After 40 years of designing shoes, Sex And The City made Manolo Blahnik a fashion icon. There’s only one problem — the Spanish-born shoe god never wanted to be a celebrity!

Manolo Blahnik’s name became synonymous with the hit fashion-obsessed franchise after series protagonist Carrie Bradshaw Blahnik’s on the show in the late 1990s. Although he credits the long-running series with saving his pnce fleeting empire and cementing the shoe’s place in pop culture history, Blahnik, 66, is “sick” of seeing his luxury heels on the hoffs of Sarah Jessica Parker and the rest of the Sex gang.

The designer is desperate to distance his brand from the wildly-popular series.

“If people talk to me about Sex And The City, I get sick,” he revealed in an interview with The Sunday Telegraph on Sept. 6. “The taxi drivers recognize me now. It becomes too much and I don’t feel comfortable. I have never wanted to be a celebrity designer.”

Kim Cattrall may have inadvertently given away some secrets from the plot of the upcoming big screen blockbuster Sex and The City 2.

Britain’s Daily Mirror zoomed in on a page of script she was carrying in New York City last week, and the tabloid claims there’ll be big chances in the life of sex-obsessed PR hotshot Samantha Jones in the highly-anticipated film.

The set of Sex And The City 2 has become more like a press junket for Twilight now that SATC stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris Noth, and the rest of the gang have been forced to hire additional security to cope with the legion of fashion-forward fans who have descended on NYC’s Upper East Side since the sequel began shooting there on Tuesday.

“They looked more like they were protecting the President than Sarah Jessica Parker,” an eyewitness at 84th St. and Park Ave told The New York Daily News on Thursday. “At one point, teenage girls were practically trampling each other trying to get to Sarah Jessica as she was walking back to her trailer, but her security team was shoving everyone out of the way.”

Fans even tried to storm security to get close to series star Cynthia Nixon, who plays outspoken attorney Miranda in the series.

“People were screaming and trying to push past guards. The fans were just too much. Security looked legitimately concerned for her (Nixon’s) safety.”

But the heavy-handed security team upset Sarah Jessica , who reportedly asked them not to “hurt her fans.” The insider adds, “She looked upset and extremely concerned. The guards were getting pretty rough.”

Sex And The City 2 — the follow-up to 2008’s blockbuster Sex And The City: The Movie — opens in theaters Memorial Day Weekend 2010.
