Disney starlet Selena Gomez has denied rumors that she is dating fellow young star Taylor Lautner — well known for his role as Jake in the upcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon. Selena, 16, and Taylor, 17, found themselves romantically-linked after they were spotted hanging out around Vancouver together earlier this spring. Taylor has been on location in the Canadian city shooting New Moon, while Selena is busy working on her big screen debut in Ramona and Beezus.

But in a chat with Extra on Monday, the Wizards of Waverly Place star insists that she’s still single.

“He’s one of my good friends. I’m single — definitely single.”

Disney’s Selena Gomez is busy promoting a healthy lifestyle. The Wizards of Waverly Place star has partnered with Elsie The Cow and her friends at The Borden Company for a new wellness campaign encouraging kids to drink milk.
