VH1 “Scream Queens” Season 2 Premieres Aug. 2

Set your DVRs, Horror Fanatics, it’s time for a new season of VH1′s tacky reality frightfest, Scream Queens.
Produced by Lionsgate and Joke Productions, the next installment of the horror-actress reality competition is set to hit VH1 next month, and this time, the potential Queens will be competing for a role in Saw 3D (the next scheduled entry in the popular film franchise), opening in Oct. Season one “Screamer” Tanedra Howard landed the role of “Simone” in theāopening trap scene” in last year’s Saw VI. Now producers will strive to recapture that magic once more with Scream Queens Season 2 (Note our tone of sarcasm….).
If you’ve never seen the show before, we suggest tuning in just for the laughs you get looking at the chuckleworthy faces these girls make as they pretend to be scared out of their wits. Excuse us, but yelping like a dog until veins start popping out of your neck does not qualify as convincing acting. It’s fairly obvious why no Hollywood agents have been beating down doors to represent the “aspiring actresses” in this bunch. Word of Advice, Ladies: If you’re “frightened” face looks more like “constipated,” it may be time to start investing in better acting classes.
And if all else fails, Forever 21 is always hiring.
