Spring Fever will bring a side-splitting British Invasion to the Saturday Night Live stage. Academy Award-winning Dame Helen Mirren and Sir Elton John, who last appeared on SNL back in the early ’80s, have signed up to host the long-running sketch comedy classic on consecutive weeks in April.
Zach Galifianakis shaved his head during his closing monologue on Saturday Night Live this weekend. Fans of the sketch comedy classic are accustomed to seeing The Hangover funny guy riding himself of unwanted body hair on late-night TV. Galifianakis famously shaved his beard off between skits during his first hosting stint on SNL in March 2010.
Did you catch Miley Cyrus making her debut as a Saturday Night Live hostess this weekend? While you were busy inhaling shots of Tequila down at the local Watering Hole, the former Hannah Montana starlet was trying her hand at live comedy (The emphasis on “trying…”) on NBC’s long-running sketch comedy classic. And in case you’ve missed the memo, Ms. Cyrus has breaking news for you: She isn’t perfect!
