Lindsay Lohan and her former girlfriend Samantha Ronson have officially hit an impasse in their often-troubled relationship, according to a PEOPLE source.
“Sam let Lindsay back into her life as a friend, but now even a friendship seems impossible,” a Ronson insider tells PEOPLE this week. “No matter how many times she promises to change, Lindsay loses control and starts acting like a maniac.”
The confidential informant adds that despite being photographed together in recent weeks, Lindsay and Samantha never rekindled their romantic relationship, which
“She is telling everyone that Sam dumped her again, but it makes no sense since they never got back together.”

Samantha Ronson is in discussions to appear in her own television reality series, The National Enquirer is reporting. The series, tenatively titled Sam’s Life, would focus on the openly lesbian spinner’s life as a jet-setting celebrity mixmistress.

Old habits die hard. Lindsay Lohan is planning to convert to Judaism so she can marry on-again/off-again girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
The pair separated after a messy split — that left The Ronsons seeking a restraining order — in March, but blabbing spies connected to The National Enquirer claim they have secretly reunited and LiLo is prepared to abandon her Catholic roots for Jewish Sam and her disapproving family.
The source tells the tabloid, “Lindsay says Sam’s promised she’ll persuade her family to accept this, and they won’t wait to see if California changes their gay marriage legislation, but will travel to one of the states where it is legal to say their I do’s.”
The same day that Lindsay Lohan spilled the beans on her breakup with DJ Samantha Ronson in an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actress reportedly reunited with her ex.
According to X17Online, Lindsay was spotted visiting the Hollywood Hills home of her ex-girlfriend around 1:30PM on Thursday afternoon.
Lindsay left around 7 PM, but the former couple saw each other again when Lindsay reportedly met up with Samantha at her apartment at 2 AM, where the celebrity spinner stayed until 6 AM.
