The sister of Britney Spears’s former manager has claimed that the star is afraid of her father.

On Wednesday, Christine Lutfi , sister of Sam Lutfi, testified at a hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court, where she claimed that Britney contacted her earlier this year searching for a way to get in touch with Sam to help arrange legal representation, Radar Online reports.

“[Spears] said she was scared of her father and wanted a way to get a cell phone. She asked me if Sam could help her get a lawyer.”

Christine met the singer at a gym in the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills on January 18.

“When she came to meet me inside the sauna I gave her the phone, which I told her was from Sam and Adnan [Ghalib]. She then took the phone and placed it inside a locker.”

Joel Boxster, the Spears family attorney, challenged Ms. Lutfi’s account: “Lutfi made persistent calls. If this was a celebrity stalker, the court would not hesitate….He is a celebrity svengali. Ms Spears wanted him arrested because of his conduct.”

On Tuesday, former Spears pal, Sam Lutfi, 34, filed a lawsuit against the singer and her parents, Jamie, 55, and Lynne, 53, accusing them of defamation and breach of contract.

The suit came three days after the Spears family obtained a restraining order against Lutfi.

The lawsuit alleges: “Jamie and Lynne launched a campaign of lies and intimidation designed to destroy Lutfi and drive him out of Britney’s life…..Despite accomplishing their objectives, Jamie and Lynne have continued their smear campaign against Lutfi.”

“Sam has realized that a TV show would get him a large chunk of money and he’d get extra money on the back of it in magazine and newspaper interviews,” one celebrity mole has squeled. “He is very bitter about Britney filing a restraining order against him as well.”

“So this is the opportunity for him to get his lucrative revenge. To be a big earner, this documentary will need to be full of sensational and shocking revelations.”

Sam Lutfi, former friend of manager of Britney Spears, has filed a lawsuit against the singer and her parents for libel and defamation.

He is also looking to collect on some unpaid management fees he insists he is owed.

The claim was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, just three days after a judge granted Jamie Spears, who is conservator of the star’s estate, a restraining order against Sam and Britney’s paparazzo ex, Adnan Ghalib.

Sam claims that the Spears family “began a campaign of slander, libel and defamation aimed at discrediting, destroying and physically and emotionally intimidating Lutfi in order to drive him out of Britney’s life.”

The suit cites Lynne Spears’ 2008 book, Through the Storm, which Sam says is filled with “false statements” about him.

Britney Spears’ supposedly abusive manager has all but confirmed that he is planning on writing a book about the star’s troubled personal life in an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine. Sam stated that Britney has been dictating her memoirs to him and he is looking forward to putting the notes into a book.

“We’ve been doing dictation, she’s (Spears) been telling me her story, and I’ve been writing it all down. It would make a great book!”

In fact, Sam may even be on his way to a television near you:

“He’s already reached out to a few of the entertainment news shows,” a TV insider whispers to celebrity spies. “He’s trying to broker the best deal.”

Both Britney Spears’ unofficial manager and paparazzo lover are shopping proposals for a pair of tell-all books about the pop star’s psychotic breakdown to American publishers.

”That should tell you something about their true devotion to Britney and her interests,” a Spears insider says of Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib.

”These guys better get those books out real fast,” says a former member of Britney’s legal team. ”This story is changing daily. Unless those books include information the public already doesn’t know, those ‘tell-alls’ won’t mean much, given what may happen to Britney in the days and weeks to come.”
