“Too Thin” Sienna Miller “Robin Hood” Role Dropped (”Maid Marian”)

Sienna Miller has reportedly been dumped from the role of “Maid Marian” in an upcoming remake of Robin Hood after the film’s producers developed concerns that the petite star would make out-of-shape co-star Russell Crowe “look bad” during intimate scenes.

The man-eating 26-year-old actress was reportedly banished from the cast of Nottingham after being deemed too thin for the part, squealing movie insiders say.

Crowe, 44, has not shed the four stone he gained for his role in the recent Body of Lies, where he played a former journalist.

An insider told the New York Post on Sunday: “It is a mess. Russell never lost the weight he put on for Body of Evidence and so the love scenes between him and Sienna would have been laughable. He’s so old and fat and she’s so young and gorgeous.”

The source added, “Word is that producers are “looking for an older, plumper actress to play the role so Crowe doesn’t look like a paunchy grandpa. Someone in her late 30s or early 40s.”

Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe will play Robin Hood–and the Sheriff of Nottingham–in director Ridley Scott’s forthcoming adaptation of the epic fairy tale.

Joan Rivers is getting senile. The veteran comic chatterbox was tossed off of a British talk show on Tuesday after she referred to Oscar-nominated actor Russell Crowe as a “fucking piece of shit” on live television. Joan was appearing as a guest on ITV’s Loose Women to promote the West End debut of her new one-woman show Joan Rivers: A Work in Progress by a Life in Progress. The slipup has left British audiences mortified; the network received nearly fifty complaints from viewers after Joan let loose on the air.

“An editorial decision was taken that Joan Rivers should not appear in the final part of the program. Loose Women guests are always briefed that it is a live daytime show and as such are reminded not to swear or use inappropriate language,” reads a statement from ITV.

“I thought there was a seven-second delay,” the seventy-five year old Rivers explained. “They earlier showed a picture of a man with an obvious erection under his coat so I thought it would be all right.”

“I have won an Emmy, been nominated for a Tony award, done every show and become an icon and when people ask me what is left in my career I have always said I don’t know, but I have never been forcibly thrown out of a TV studio. It is another milestone,” Joan added.
