Kobe Bryant may be losing his wife to a former Los Angeles gang banger-that’s the word from a snitching source who knows the NBA trophy wife.

The snitch has a brother who briefly dated Vanessa Bryant, a former hip-hop music video model, as a teenager. Since his release from prison, he and V.B have reportedly been spending time together-and according to the tattle, Vannie’s ex is interested in more than just walking down memory lane:

“I know how my brother feels about Vanessa – that’s his heart … and it looks like she might feel the same way about him.”

“My brother was in [prison] for 5 years … but he’s out now and he’s catching up with all his old friends – including Vanessa.” Snitching sis says that V and her recently sprung bro have been out at least five times since his release from the Big House two months ago. Given some of V’s ex’s friends, Kobe had better keep his mouth shut:

“I’m not saying that he’s in [the Mexican Mafia], but when you’re Mexican and grow up in L.A. like us – you have all kinds of homies.”

Lindsay Lohan’s current beau Harry Morton was recently spotted in Beverly Hills at Cartier’s- buying an engagement ring. Could this mean a marriage announcement on the horizon?

“EXTRA” reports that one of Morton’s representatives says “I can confirm that Harry was shopping in Cartier…but what he purchased I cannot confirm. If it was in fact a gift then that’s between him and whomever the gift is for.”

I hope this is all just gossip, but if it is true I hope she says no. I’m usually not a pessimist, but I don’t see how this marriage could last. I know everyone’s saying that Harry’s been a good influence on Lindsay but at this point Lindsey can barely commit to a job, and I’m sorry but a guy who owns a company called “Pink Taco” can’t be all that mature either.

Most likely another false alarm, but according to according to US Weekly via TMZ , Jessica Simpson has a new man in her life – John Mayer.

But I wouldn’t put too much stock in this… yet. Lately any guy who happens to stand next to Jessica Simpson long enough to have a picture taken with her is being labeled as her new boyfriend.

Also, didn’t John Mayer used to be good looking? What happened? Maybe it’s just in comparison to Jessica’s spray-on bronze, but he looks like Frakenstein.

Jennifer Aniston recently set the record straight in no uncertain terms regarding her relationship and alleged engagement to Vince Vaughn. Jennifer stated clearly, in an exclusive interview that she initiated with People magazine, “I’m not engaged and I don’t have a ring and I haven’t been proposed to.” She went on to say that normally she tries not to acknowledge such stories, but when her father told her it was on the CNN crawl she just had to speak up. “When it starts to travel over into the Today show and CNN and supposedly reliable and accurate news programs, then you just go, ‘This is insane.’ People are getting fed a lot of bull.”

So, after being seen together regularly since they co-starred in The Break-Up last year, where does her relationship with Vince Vaughn really stand? “We’re just being,” Aniston says. “We’re having a good time.”

Well I was a glad to hear about the engagement and therefore a little bummed to hear it was all untrue. Now I wonder if Jennifer and Vince will end up “having a good time” for the long run, or will we hear about a real version of The Break-Up on the CNN crawl???
