One former View hostess to another, Rosie Live star Rosie O’Donnell opens up about her ongoing tension with the women of ABC’s The View with TODAY correspondent Meredith Vieira.
“The fact that I hurt her is what hurts me,” Rosie says, “I do care about Barbara Walters.”
“I do the best I can, but I think there comes a point where she had had enough. I’m hard to take for some people. … I do love her. That’s the bottom line. Love is complicated.”
Television’s about to get a lot Rosier. Comedienne Rosie O’Donnell will enjoy a three-day co-hosting stint on The Rachael Ray Show next week, leading up to the premiere of her Rosie Live! Variety Show on Wednesday night.

Here’s the audio from their chat-keep your ears open for Howard and Rosie’s take on Jay Leno’s lackluster social skills. In another juice portion of the interview, Rosie fessed up to having a little crush on Republican spitfire Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
“Were you not attracted to Elisabeth Hasselbeck?” Howard asked Rosie. “When you look at her physically, you don’t want her?”
“See, the want is the big thing,” Rosie admitted. “I find her very attractive. She’s very attractive, I think.”
“Her body is perfect,” Stern said.
