The Emmy-winning comedienne grew up Jewish, so why did she agree to pose for these controversial pics, shot by Bradley Meinz? Roseanne tried to explain the reasoning behind the Hitler spread in a post on her popular Roseanne World Blog this afternoon, writing:

“There is so much anti-semitism in this world,
It’s not even funny.
It is as everyday as baking cookies.
Ignorance is not bliss.
Recalling the horrors of the holocaust will not deflect or divert it, as many Jewish people think.”

Publisher Josh Neuman is also defending the photos, which some members of the Jewish community are calling distasteful –among other things.

“We did this with satiric intentions and not for shock value.”

“When you meet her, it’s best if you don’t try to shake her hand..She doesn’t like to be touched by strangers,” Roseanne’s longtime makeup artist.

Trying to understand the reasoning here. Since Roseanne’s Jewish, it’s okay? Maybe I’ve read too many books on the Holocaust, but I can’t make light of this. Not all dark periods in history can be made fun of.

“I was too afraid. I thought I would wait until Shabbat to call him and then he was dead,” Roseanne writes in an apology to the deceased music icon.

“Michael, I am sorry I didn’t call you but I will try to help your kids out by talking about them all the time. Debbie Rowe is welcome to call me and I will help her all I can!”

Roseanne says of the King of Pop’s untimely death, “Michael freaks me out in that haunting video of his last rehearsal, he can hardly move at all, but he is giving it everything he’s got. He knows this is his very last video, and that there will never be a concert. He knows that the producers will tour it around the world and break several of his never heard songs out this way—he brilliantly leaves this world in his own way.”

We believe Rosie sums up the Carrie Debate to perfection with her spot-on assessment of Trump as a “pimp daddy” and Prejean, 21, as “two bags of silicone on heel.”

The Emmy-winning comedienne, who starred as the title character of ABC’s long-running sitcom Roseanne from 1988 to 1997, is in talks to star as the matriarch on an upcoming family comedy.

Angelina Jolie’s politics earned her a humiliating tongue-lashing from comedy queen Roseanne Barr, and at least one person isn’t very happy about it.

Jon Voight doesn’t like it when former sitcom stars launch vicious tirades against his Oscar-winning daughter and her resident sperm supplier, Brad Pitt..

In a response to Roseanne’s now infamous Anti-Brangelina blog, Jon accuses the She Devil star of being “sick of mind.”

Roseanne has challenged how sincere celebrity do-gooders Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in their efforts to change the world. The outspoken comedienne blasted Brad and Angie (more Angie than Brad) in a weekend entry on her Official Blog. Ro is particularly disturbed as the mother of three children of color Angelina has not jumped on the “Barack Obama for President” bandwagon.

Roseanne slammed Angelina, calling her Jon Voight’s “evil spawn,” while dubbing Jolie’s common law hubby, Brad Pitt, “vacuous.”

“Miss Jolie says she likes [John] McCain too and hasn’t decided who to endorse….huh?” Roseanne writes. “Aren’t you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the Republican party’s worldwide economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Reagan?”

Roseanne writes that “it might be good for your Asian and African children’s self-esteem to know you support” Barack Obama, a man of color, “for the leader of the free world.”

“Now go back to making your movies about women who love to handle big guns that shoot hundreds of people to death.”

What went wrong?
Apart from her inclination to change husbands frequently and being borderline offensive at times (although she used to do stand-up at one point it is to be expected) of late Roseanne has started to have an opinion about everything and everyone. What is worse she has discovered Internet at the same time. So her visitors are subjected to tirades about gay people, presidential candidates and her boots? Don’t ask me I went to check it out, but even if you ignore all the profanities it is still difficult to make heads or tails of it. Roseanne was hilarious once, now it is just a bit sad.
