Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan have called it quits after two years of dating, RadarOnline claims.

For the second time in her life, the 36-year-old actres has backed out of plans to wed, allegedly calling off her engagement to the director, according to a new report.

Rodriguez and McGowan went public with their romance in May 2007, after rumors surfaced claiming the former Charmed star was behind the breakup of Rodriguez’s 16 year marriage. She went on to star in a number of the filmmaker’s directorial efforts, including Grindhouse and the upcoming features Machete and Red Sonja.

Rose McGowan once ended a two year engagement to shock rocker Marilyn Manson.

Rose McGowan was seriously injured on the set of her director fiance Robert Rodriguez’s comic book action film Red Sonja.

The former Charmed star, 36, will play the animated heroine in a remake of the 1985 film later this year. Nonetheless, Rose suffered damage to several limbs and nerves while performing a series of stunts for the movie, requiring her to undergo surgery.

“I had wrist and elbow surgery and they took part of my elbow out,” she told FOX News Wednesday. “I had really bad nerve damage from doing stunts – I do a lot of my own stunts. I could no longer use my arm, but now I can hold a fork and drive so we’re working our way up.”

She added: “It’ll probably be another six months of rehab, but it’s the price you pay for being really limber and being able to do back flips.”
