Modern Family actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson was in the house during Sunday’s gabbed-about matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. In case you haven’t heard, that’s when Metta World Peace (the bruisin’ baller formerly known as Ron Artest) slammed his elbow into the back of James Harden’s head, leaving the Thunder guard with a concussion.

Ouch.

Tyler recounted the incident — well, what he saw of it — during an appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Monday.
