David Cook in Rolling Stone Magazine-June 26th, 2008
The June 26th issue of Rolling Stone Magazine will feature a profile with Season 7 American Idol winner David Cook. David, who recently inked a recording contract with 19 Entertainment, sat down for an interview with the music mag during his first trip to New York City, and the reigning champion of Idol wants to make one thing clear, his journey hasn’t been easy.
“The overnight thing is nice and romantic,” David tells Rolling Stone. “But in this particular instance, it’s not the case.” “I don’t want to make a Chris Daughtry record, I want to make a David Cook record. I feel like I know who I am.”
