Robin Williams, who had some experience with cross-dressing as an unfortunate looking woman in the 1993 comedy Mrs. Doubtfire, says he’s been offered the role of Susan Boyle in a biopic about her life.
Studio bosses are reportedly interested in turning the Britain’s Got Talent runner-up’s life story into a Hollywood film — with the star of television’s Mork & Mindy in the lead role.
“I’ve been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie. I think she’s incredible. That clip of her singing on Britain’s Got Talent was extraordinary,” the comedian told Britain’s Daily Telegraph on Monday.
Robin says he’s already started begun practicing his Susan Boyle impression by performing “I Dreamed a Dream” for his pals.
Susan, 48, is currently recording her debut album.

Robin Williams is getting a divorce. Robin’s wife Marsha Garces Williams filed a divorce petition in the San Francisco Superior Court on March 21st. The couple was married in April 1989 and have two children together: daughter Zelda, 18 and son Cody, 16.
