“Too bad the least talented Beatle was the one who showed up,” Britney reportedly snapped. “They should have got Paul [McCartney].”

After leaving Regis & Kelly to eat his dust earlier this week, former Beatle Ringo Starr treated the audience of the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson to a full set from his new LP Liverpool 8 on Thursday.

Soft-spoken former Beatle, Ringo Starr showed Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa the middle finga on Tuesday when he walked off the set of Live With Regis and Kelly. The rock legend, who appeared on Monday night’s episode of the Late Show with David Letterman, became upset after being asking to shorten his performance of Liverpool 8; Ringo says he wasn’t aware his performance had to be 2.5 minutes or less.

“We offered to cut back our chat time and asked them to fade or go to commercial. They were not willing to do that and Ringo was not willing to cut it further, so without a compromise we were not able to stay,” Ringo’s publicist Elizabeth Freund said in a statement to The Associated Press. “Ringo left saying, ‘God bless and goodbye. We still love Regis.’ “
