FOX Scoops Up Rights to Rihanna Documentary
FOX has snagged exclusive worldwide premiere rights to Rihanna’s concert documentary, Rihanna 777. The film will debut Monday, May 6, the network has announced.
The doc will offer viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the singer’s “seven countries in seven days” world tour, launched in support of her charttoping seventh studio album, Unapologetic. RiRi’s Unapologetic Tour garnered lots of press late last year as a 777 jet packed with 256 die-hard fans and international jet-lagged journalists crisscrossed the friendly skies from Mexico City to Toronto to Stockholm to Paris and from Berlin to London before finally landing in New York City.
