Community star, Rashida Jones, has issued an apology for some teasing comments she made about John Travolta.
Jones made the off-hand remark while promoting her new film, Celeste and Jesse Forever. The conversation turned to her thoughts on co-star Frank Ocean coming out and expressing his sexuality to the world. “There needs to be, like, a professional athlete that comes out,” Rashida said, “And a movie star! Zooey Deschanel and Rashida Jones will play a couple in Paul Rudd’s new comedy, My Idiot Brother.
Also featuring Elizabeth Banks and Emily Mortimer, the story centers on a lazy but sweet slacker (Rudd) who crashes at the homes of his three ambitious sisters, leaving truth and wreaking havoc in his wake.
Banks, Deschanel, and Mortimer will play the sisters.
Rashida Jones has signed up to star in The Social Network, the new movie inspired by the lives of the founders of Facebook.
The I Love You, Man actress will appear opposite Justin Timberlake and Jesse Eisenberg in David Fincher’s upcoming film, Variety reports.
Production on the film is currently underway in Los Angeles — J.T. has already been snapped on the set sporting the infamous ‘Nsync curls that helped make him a heartthrob in the early 2000s.
Rashida currently stars on the NBC sitcom Parks And Recreation.
