A Dunkin’ Donuts ad featuring company spokesmodel Rachael Ray wearing a scarf that looks like a black and white keffiyeh, a traditional headdress worn by Arab men, has been removed from circulation. It was conservative Fox News commentator Michelle Malkin who fueled the controversy, writing “The keffiyeh has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad” in a blog posting over the weekend.

Rosie O’Donnell returned to daytime television on Friday morning. The former co-host of The View joined celebrity chief Rachael Ray for an hour to promote her new book, Crafty U: 100 Easy Projects the Whole Family Can Enjoy All Year Long. Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly learning to tap into her inner diva as she slowly emerges as the new Queen of Daytime Talk. Ellen and her Telepictures producers refuse to be outdone by a pint-sized chick with a fierce pot collection. Reps for The Ellen DeGeneres Show called heads at The Rachael Ray Show on Thursday demanding that the celebrity chief cancel her tribute to Rosie O’Donnell, airing on Friday May 2nd. Who said good-natured lesbians can’t be bitchy?
