Project Runway judge Nina Garcia, 45, is expecting her second child with husband David Conrod just in time for the release of her latest style guide. The Marie Claire fashion director’s new addition will join her 3-year-old son, Lucas Alexander.
Garcia’s fourth book, Nina Garcia’s Look Book: What to Wear for Every Occasion, debuts Aug. 10.
A lot more Project Runway is coming to a small screen near you. Episodes of the Lifetime design & style reality competition will be 90 minutes long, extended from 60 minutes, when the show returns for its eighth season next month.
Design guy Seth Aaron Henderson sewed up victory on the seventh season finale of Project Runway on Thursday. Judges Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Michael Kors, and special guest Faith Hill chose Henderson over fellow finalists Emilio Sosa and Mila Hermanovski on the final episode of the current season of Lifetime’s reality fashion design competition.

The sixth season finale of Project Runway is going country.
Country superstar Faith Hill will appear as a special guest judge when the design reality show wraps its current season in April. Faith joined series regulars Nina Garcia, Heidi Klum, and Michael Kors as Project Runway taped its season-ending show on the runway at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, held at Bryant Park, on Friday.
Faith follows a long line of celebrity guests who have appeared as guest judges on Runway over the years, including Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, Natalie Portman, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Victoria Beckham.
