Beginning March 25, “The Purple One” Prince will perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno for three consecutive nights in support of his two upcoming albums LOtUSFLOW3R and MPLSoUND. No other music artist has appeared on Leno for more than two-nights in a row.

Prince doesn’t like the gays.
Prince is hopping mad over an article in this Sunday’s edition of The New Yorker which allegedly quotes the pop legend making some questionable remarks about the gay community.
(This coming from a guy who perms his hair and harbors an unhealthy obsession with all things purple. Perhaps he should reevaluate his entire wardrobe, because several of his outfits just scream “Single twinkie male.”)

Prince will headline the second night of the 2008 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. The star-studded mega-music fest is scheduled to invade Cali April 25th-27th. Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie, Hot Chip, and Mark Ronson join “The Purple One” on this year’s performance roster.
