Britain’s first family, The Beckhams, landed at Los Angeles International Airport to begin their new life in the United States.

David and Victoria Beckham have purchased a $20 million six bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills.

“It’s a very classy property with some of the most sensational views… They went for just six bedroom and Victoria was anxious to create a modest, cozy family environment,” says a snitching source close to the Beckhams.

“It’s in an amazing location and the views are to die for,” an area real estate agent says of the Italian-villa style property featuring nine baths and a small swimming pool.

David Beckham has hit the bottle-the peroxide bottle that is. The soccer superstar now has bleached locks that match his wife’s.

Jordan and Peter Andre gave to Extra that ended with a verbal smack in the face to fellow British imports, Posh N Becks.

During the interview, Peter admits that he’s not as hot as David Beckham and he goes on to say that his wife is better looking than Posh

Jordan responds with “It’s not hard to be better looking than her, is it really.” Roll the tape.

Victoria (Posh) and David Beckham have put in an offer on a Bel Air mansion that once belonged to Meg Ryan, sources dish.

The USA bound Brits have been searching for a new home in Los Angeles since it was announced that David would be moving to US soccer team, LA Galaxy.

The mansion sports multiple living quarters, the house boasts ocean views, a games room, private gym and sauna, swimming pool and massive back garden.

Bel Air area estate agent Joel Cunningham, who reportedly showed the stick-thin star round the property, said:

“Mrs Beckham was very impressed with the property overall, especially the ocean views which can be enjoyed from the bedroom….She also was impressed by the close proximity to the local amenities and schools. She was absolutely smitten with the architecture and garden, which is nearly 100 years old and has flowing vines and willow trees.”

“In addition to the large 8ft high security fence surrounding the property, there’s also a front wall and gates that are even higher than the massive fence, at a massive 11ft,” Joel continued.

According to ‘Heat’ magazine, the asking price for the mansion is $20million, and the Beckhams have made an offer just over this.

They are expected to hear whether or not their offer has been accepted before the end of the week.

And it seems that Posh has set her heart on the seven-bedroom, six-bathroom house in the exclusive district of Bel Air.

Posh and Becks have reportedly approached pop star Madonna about buying her Beverly Hills compound.

The British soccer star and the former Spice Girl have recently been on a whirlwind house-hunting spree in Los Angeles.

Beckham, who has signed a five-year deal with the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team that’s potentially worth $250 million, is hoping to spend under $20 million for their new home.

Barry Peele, of Sotheby’s International Realty, is the Beckhams real estate agent, he refused to comment on reports the couple has spoken to Madonna about buying her property, because he has signed “a lengthy confidentiality agreement”.

The famous Brits have reportedly looked at more than 20 homes in the $22.98 million to $38.3 million range.

Part of the problem is that the family does not want a house that would require any remodelling to fit their preferences-one of which is a mansion that is not visibly from the street.

Real estate firm Westside Estate Agency Kurt Rappaport tells the Los Angeles Times, “They’ll be away three weeks. There will be more homes for them to see when they get back.”

The median sale price of a home in Beverly Hills in December was $1.79 million, and a little lower at $1.53 million in the coastal enclave of Malibu, according to real estate tracker Dataquick.

Victoria Beckham, AKA Posh Spice, is expanding her fashion line DVB.

Posh “is expanding her budding DVB lifestyle brand, which is currently launching at retail with a collection of sunglasses, by adding denim to the mix. The former Spice Girl has inked a manufacturing deal with Western Glove Works to develop and distribute a denim collection, according to a statement by 19 Entertainment Ltd., the London-based media and branded entertainment firm that manages David and Victoria Beckham.”

Posh Spice spent a blistery day in NYC teaching her two oldest sons a bit more about American history.

Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham made a very rare appearance together with their mother Victoria as she gave them a lesson in American history yesterday.

Mama Posh took seven year old Brooklyn and four year old Romeo on a tour of Clinton Castle in New York. Built in 1812 to repel the British, the building is now an immigrant museum.

David and Victoria Beckham’s entire security staff have had their applications for work permits rejected by the U.S government.

“It’s proving to be a massive headache because David and Victoria are comfortable and so happy with their current team,” the insider adds.

Beckham security works two weeks on, two weeks off and are paid approximately $1,500 a month.
