It’s not everyday that your ex jumps at the opportunity to tell the world what a nice guy you are. Then again, former JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater — who left the service industry this week with the help of an inflatable slide and a few beers — is anything but oridinary.

Cynthia Susanne, the former wife of the media sensation dropped by The TODAY Show on Thursday, where she described her ex-husband as a “gentleman” and added thatt the passenger that prompted him to unleash the wrath of hell on a flight of travelers going from Pittsburgh to New York City must have been a real “nightmare.”

Even The Association of Flight Attendants is lending their support to Slater following a dramatic and controversial departure from his job following a dispute with a rude passenger.

A rep for the AFA says:

“We want to advance the profession no matter what. Sometimes in order to do that we must help people who may not necessarily be members.”

Let’s get this show on the road! Glee is Broadway-bound. This week, series creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that he is forging ahead with plans to turn the Emmy-nominated TV musical-comedy into a Broadway musical.

As a matter of fact, he’s already holding auditions.
