Surf’s up, Spicoli! After an introduction by Academy Award winner Robert DeNiro, fellow Oscar winner Sean Penn lead a “Fast Times At Ridgemont High reunion at the 2011 Spike TV Guys Choice Awards. The stars of the 1982 Amy Hecklerling/Cameron Crowe classic — sans Phoebe Cates and Jennifer Jason Leigh — took to the stage as they were honored at the awards show, which aired Friday night on Spike.

“Mr. DeNiro is a large part of the reason many of us in this film became actors. So, thank you for being here and doing this tonight,” Penn said.

NBC’s President of Programming Bob Greenblatt and 30 Rock creator Tina Fey say they’re pleased that Tracy Morgan has apologized for violent anti-gay remarks he made during a comedy concert in Nashville on June 3. Morgan has fallen under fire over the past 24 hours after a series of one-liners he made targeting the LGBTQ during the Tennessee show went viral on Friday. Among them: Morgan said that if his son were gay he “would pull out a knife and stab” him.
