Grammy Award-winning singer Pink and her husband of two years, motocross racer star Carey Hart are divorcing, according to a statement from the singer’s publicist, Michele Schweitzer. The marriage was long plagued by reports of infidelity.
“Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another. While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.”
Pink has joined forces with animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to Central Park’s signature horse-drawn carriages. Pink will appear on billboards across NYC, urging New Yorkers and tourists to boycott the city tradition. Read the rest of this entry »
Pink has been sued with a copyright infringement lawsuit by a musician who claims he has not been paid for work on the singer’s platinum-selling 2001 album, MISSUNDAZSTOOD. Kyle Jones, known in the music world as Scratch, claims he worked with Pink on the song Respect, but failed to receive payment for his contributions. He is seeking $717,600 (GBP358,800) in damages.
