A shoulder injury couldn’t keep Pink away from ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night.
The 30-year-old star suffered a separated shoulder and was unable to do the aerial parts of her trapeze-heavy Funhouse Concert Tour this week. Despite her injury, the singer has decided not to cancel any of her upcoming concert dates.
Reports suggest the singer may injured herself while performing at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York last Sunday, when she sang her hit Sober high above the audience at Radio City Music Hall on a trapeze.
Pink wrote about the pain on her Twitter page, saying she never really knew what hubby Carey Hart went through when he broke his collarbone. “Now I [know],” she says.

Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong added: “We are excited to be performing at the Video Music Awards. You never know what’s going to happen, and it’s always a memorable experience for us.”
Katy Perry, Ne-Yo, Chace Crawford have already been confirmed as presenters, while British comedian Russell Brand will reprise his hosting duties for the second year in a row.
The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from New York City on Sunday, September 13.
Pink has ignited a celebrity feud with Kanye West after the controversial rapper made comments supporting the use of animal fur in the fashion industry.
The outspoken pop star, a devoted activist on behalf of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, was taken aback by ‘Ye’s “pro-fur” behavior during a recent fashion show in Paris.
“The entire time Kanye is going, ‘They need more fur in this show’. He just wouldn’t shut up about how he loved fur,” Pink says in the new issue of Australian FHM.
“I mean, he’s saying this to me, the PETA guy and Paul McCartney! I was just so grossed out by him. I’m like, ‘You’re an idiot!’ There are so many people who I think are a waste of skin and he’s up there. I should wear him.”
“Go on, donate yourself, Kanye. People can wear your fur,” she added.

Although Pink — who is on tour in Australia — wasn’t in attendance at Wednesday night’s big show, this season’s Top 13 took to the stage and performed a group number to her single “So What” Unfortunately, the Grammy winner was less than thrilled to hear that the hit song was belted out by newcomers on the FOX talent competition.
In fact, Pink feels the word “butchered” best described the performance.
“i heard it thru the grapevine that someone butchered my song last night on tv…. does that mean ive ‘made it?’ lol.” Pink wrote on her Twitter page on Thursday.
Pink and her husband Carey Hart are back together and during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday, the singer told Ellen that a sense of humor has been the key to success in their relationship.
“I love that you’re happy and you and Carey are back together. So congratulations,” Ellen told Pink.
“We are. Thank you,” Pink said.
“I knew that you would be back together. He’s not you’re ex. You’re singing the wrong lyrics in your song now,” Ellen replied.
“It’s funny now,” Pink said of her hit song “So What,” which contains a several jabs at Carey. “When I sing, ‘He’s a Tool’… now that’s my favorite line! ‘Hi Honey, that’s you.’”
