On Thursday, Pete Wentz used The Huffington Post as platform to garner support for an event — going on in Washington this weekend — that will benefit child soldiers in Northern Uganda.
The Fall Out Boy star is throwing his support behind Invisible Children, a non-profit organization devoted to helping kids escape the Lord’s Resistance Army in Northern Uganda, a violent coupe that kidnaps children and forces them to become human killing machines.

Pete Wentz is excited that his wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz will be appearing on the upcoming revival of Melrose Place–so much so that he hopes she’ll get to play the resident “bitch” on the show.
“I’m excited to watch. She’s a good actor. I think it will be awesome. I told her that I hope she gets to play the bitch.”
Parenthood is taking its toll on Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.
Blabbermouths close to the couple claim the once active pair is having trouble adapting to their more subdued lifestyle. Pete and Ashlee welcomed son Bronx last November, but domesticity and diapers don’t agree with the 24-year-old bride.
A tipster tells Page Six, “Ashlee and Pete are on the rocks. He is going out all the time and she’s stuck at home. It’s just not working.”
Pete Wentz, who is busy on tour with his emo-rock band Fall Out Boy, has taken to urinating in a series of bottles, scattering them around the stage, and trying to guess which ones are water and which are urine as he performs live.
