Pamela Anderson took time away from her new gig as the latest houseguest on Big Brother Australia to protest animal cruelty. The forty-one year old blonde spearheaded against the mistreatment of chickens at a Gold Coast, Australia KFC outlet on Wednesday. Ironically, KFC is a “big sponser” of Aussie’s Big Brother reality series, which is reportedly paying Pammie handsomely for her time. Hmmmm….Pam has admitted she had not been aware KFC was a major sponsor before signing up for the role.
“Every show has a bunch of sponsors and it’s not something you look into when you are offered a job,” she says. “But it’s kind of interesting, it’s a coincidence.”

The good folks over at People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals want Sharon Stone to get her head examined. Between Sharon’s controversial “karma” comment concerning last Spring’s devastating earthquake in China and the Golden Globe winner’s love of furry and feathered accessories, the animal rights group is convinced Sharon has defective personality.
PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk sent Stone a letter volunteering to “pay for a scan of the prefrontal region of [her] brain to determine if comments and actions that seem to demonstrate a lack of empathy are the result of a physical defect.” Read the rest of this entry »
