An assault charge against Molina was dropped Wednesday after the manager issued a written apology to Hilton. Molina allegedly punched Hilton — whose real name is Mario Lavandeira — from behind outside a Toronto nightclub outside a Toronto nightclub following the MuchMusic Video Awards in June. Fists started flying after the openly gay blogger referred to Black Eyed Peas’ leader will.i.am as a slur for homosexuals. (Perez later told OUT Magazine that his initial reaction was to call Will the “N-word.”)

Molina’s lawyer, Mark Sandler, read the apology outside the courthouse.

“I apologize for what I did on June 22 of 2009, even though you engaged in highly offensive comments, including a homophobic slur to my clients, I acknowledge that these kinds of issues should not be resolved through a physical response,” Sandler read.

Attorneys for the blogger said they were unhappy with the choice of words in the apology, but it would be grudingly accepted:

“Although accepting the fact that he shouldn’t resort to violence, he attempted to say that there was a precipitating cause,” Hilton’s lawyer, Brian Greenspan, said afterwards. “A sincere apology is a sincere apology.”

“Look Perez, you make a living off telling lies and trying to associate yourself with anyone who is in the media for press. We should all just call you Michael Lohan. You’re the gay version of Michael Lohan,” the 22-year-old college dropout fumed in one Tweet.

Rumors have been swirling that the Real Housewife of New York City is expecting a baby with fiancé Jason Hoppy — but Bethenny insists the baby buzz is “not true.” In fact, the Bravo star even joked about having a lovechild — or several — with celeb goss Perez Hilton on her Twitter this afternoon:

”Is preggers w perez hilton’s 9 blue haired babies. That’s what my bravo show is about. We’re going to beat jon & kate’s ratings w 1 more baby!”

Bethenny’s joke came after Perez reported that the celeb chef has a bun in the oven.

“I’m taking legal action against Perez Hilton with, first and foremost, a cease and desist letter, so that he stops with the pornographic and the obscene material that he has on his website.”

Michael isn’t the only celebrity parent furious with the blogger; last month, Demi Moore threatened to take similaraction against the blogger after he posted suggestive images of her 15-year-old daughter Tallulah.

Last week, the Ghost star took Hilton to task on Twitter.com over “pornographic” and “perverted” pictures he posted of her daughter.

In the season premiere of The Tyra Banks Show, recorded August 18, and expected to air Tuesday, Tyra makes Hilton vow to quit picking on young celebrities for six months in exchange for a guest judging role on her runway reality series America’s Next Top Model.

“When you’re a kid, especially the kid of a celebrity, I don’t feel they should be put in the public in a way to be made fun of. I feel they should be protected,” she told him.

Demi has waged war on Perez for what she claims are his persistent exploitative posts sexualizing her 15-year-old daughter, Tallulah Willis.

On Thursday, Perez Tweeted links to several photos of the teenager. One of the pictures is located on Los Angeles nightlife photo blog The Cobra Snake and showed Tallulah with several buttons on her top open. Another picture showed the teen hugging her famous dad, Bruce Willis, in denim mini-shorts.

Demi was incensed.

“Anyone who advertises follows or supports Perez supports violating child pornography laws!” she Tweeted.

“Clearly Perez Hilton isn’t taking violating child pornography laws very seriously. He might not but there are alot of people who do!” a furious Demi wrote in a Tweet Thursday afternoon. “MrsKutcher” later posed this question to readers: “Let me ask all of you, what is it called when someone is telling people to look and focus on a child’s ‘boobs & ass’ while providing photos?”

Hilton responded that he was waiting for her to retract her “defamatory and libelous statements.”

“Look at her Tweets. SHE is the one breaking the law with her libelous, defamatory, inaccurate and stupid allegations,” he fired back.

Perez claims Demi’s remarks have only succeeded in bringing more attention to the pictures.

“And thanks for drawing MORE attention to your daughter’s behavior and your parenting skills (or lack thereof). U r real smart!”

The sue-happy blogger even threatened legal action against the 46-year-old screen star.

“Expect another letter from my attorney, kitten. Xoxo,” he wrote on Thursday afternoon. “P.S. Bring it on, bitch!”

Perez further stated that he would not allow his child to dress like Tallulah.

“I would not let my 15 year old daughter dress like that under ANY context. You are delusional and slightly senile!”

Demi’s spokesperson says his client is tired of 31-year-old Hilton “being super mean to her kids and she draws the line with him promoting people to look at photos where her minor daughter is sexualized.”

“Demi feels that she, Ashton, Bruce and now [21-year-old] Rumer are fair game for him to pick on but her 15 year old daughter is off limits legally as a minor,” a rep for the G.I. Jane actress told Gossip Cop.com.

On Friday, controversial celebrity blogger Perez Hilton announced that he has inked a deal to launch his own record label in cooperation with Warner Brothers Records.

Perez has landed an imprint within the label and he hopes to reveal the identity of his first artist by the end of the month, he said in an interview with Rolling Stone.

The sharp-tongued pop culture pundit has long been credited with helping promote new musical acts, including dance singing sensation Lady Gaga.

“I have an ear, which is really important in the music world……To be able to hear a hit and to be able to know who has a good song or not… I’m more than just an A&R person. I’m also a marketing person. I’m also a manager.”

Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has blasted Perez Hilton for a controversial blog post the asshole celebrity gossip made about legendary singer Michael Jackson shortly before his death.

Way to go, Pete! You just went up ten notches on my “Good Guy Meter” — even if you are married to Ashlee Simpson.

Perez has come underfire for claiming that the late King of Pop — undisputedly one of the greatest entertainers of this generation — “faked” the cardiac arrest that killed him on Thursday afternoon in a bid to wiggle out of his eagerly-anticipated “This Is It” 50 Concert Tour in London, which would have kicked off last month.

After news broke that MJ had suffered a serious heart attack, Perez blogged about the story, casting doubt over whether the star was actually ill.

“Supposedly, the singer went into cardiac arrest and the paramedics had to administer CPR!!!” he wrote. “We are dubious!! Jacko pulled a similar stunt when he was getting ready for his big HBO special in ‘95 when he ‘collapsed’ at rehearsal!”

After Jackson was pronounced dead, Perez took down the post and began Twittering about his sadness at the pop legend’s death.

“It’s days like this that put it all into perspective. If you’re reading this right now, you are blessed to be alive. Hug your family,” he wrote. “As soon as I realized the severity of the situation and my mistake I fixed it instantly,” Perez further wrote on the social networking site.

He added: “To the paparazzi and mainstream media, please give the Jackson family space. Please. We do not need to see pictures or videos of them now….Grieving is not entertainment. That does not need to be public. That adds nothing to the story. I won’t be running any pics.”

The phrase “Bitch, Please” springs to mind.

Apparently, Pete wasn’t buying Perez’ sudden attack of conscious either, as he took to his Twitter page to criticize the professional gossip for his earlier mocking of Michael.

“You can’t make your life tearing someone apart, who is a human being, and then flip on a dime and say respect and mourn him,” Pete wrote.

In another tweet, he added: “Just own up to tearing ppl like MJ down – and let him rest in peace.”

Gossip blogger Perez Hilton is suing the man he claims assaulted him after an altercation with the Black Eyed Peas in Toronto on Sunday.

Hilton, whose name is real is Mario Lavandeira, says he got into an argument with Fergie and will. i.am of the Black Eyed Peas at a Toronto nightclub after last weekend’s MuchMusic Video Awards. He claims he was later punched in the face outside the club by Polo Molina, the band’s manager.

According to The Associated Press, Hilton is seeking to protect his rights to free speech and claims Molina attacked him because he made critical comments about the Black Eyed Peas’ new album, The E.N.D.

“No matter how angry Molina and his entourage may have been, no matter how much they disagree with Lavandeira’s opinions, they did not have, nor do they ever have, the right to try and inflict physical harm on him or anyone else….” the suit reads.

Molina was arrested by Canadian authorities and charged with assault on Monday. He is due to appear in court on August 5.

The suit is seeking unspecified damages of more than $25,000.
