A shaking case of stage fright is keeping Paula Abdul from performing live during the Super Bowl XLII Pregame Show. The nervous American Idol judge unveiled her new single “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow,” in a video segment that was taped before a studio audience Jan. 27. The performance is set to air Feb. 3 during pregame coverage from Glendale, Ariz.

Here’s some Behind-the-Scenes footage of the music video for “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow,” the new Paula Abdul track to be featured on Randy Jackson’s Randy Jackson’s Music Club, Vol. 1 LP, in stores on March 11th. The music video was shot a few days ago as well as Paula’s performance for the 2008 Super Bowl Pre-Show.

Paula Abdul has been dating thirty-two year old restauranteur J.T Torregiani for nine months, but the twice divorced forty-five year old is keeping her options open. Paula Abdul is scheduled to perform her new single “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow” (Listen Here) at the 2008 Super Bowl Pre-Show. TV Guide first dished on plans for a Paula performance at the February 3rd “Bowl” earlier this month. Madonna is rumored to also be making an appearance.

Early Friday, we posted a link to Paula Abdul’s first track in more than a decade, “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow.” The single will appear on Randy Jackson’s album “Music Club Volume 1,” a compilation album also featuring be Mariah Carey, Joss Stone, Travis Tritt, and Richie Sambora, along with “Idol” contestants Katharine McPhee and Elliot Yamin, in stores on January 29th.
